Production report for the year ended 31 December 2009
Production summary
Total iron ore production increased by 20% in the fourth quarter from a year earlier to 11.5Mt and by 14% for the
year ended 31 December 2009 to 41.9Mt. This was due mainly to the 3.1Mt production delivered by the Jig plant
during the quarter and 10.4Mt for the year, as well as an 8% increase in performance from the DMS plant for the
last quarter.
